Rating - 3.5 star for Boman's acting , 1star for Farha's over-acting

Boman Irani as the 45-year-old golden-hearted Parsi bachelor Farhad, a lingerie salesman, who has never found love is the USP of this film . The only women in his life are his dominating mother and doting grandmother, played perfectly by veteran actors Daisy Irani and Shammi. The world has given up on him but Farhad has never given up hope. One day Shirin who claims to be a 38 D but according to Farhad is a 36 B, walks into his shop and its love at first sight.

Though there are some sweet moments in the first half of the film, the second half about the hero trying to fight  family pressures to win the heroine is very unrealistic and boring. The film reminds us of of the bygone era when things were simpler.
Farha's stint as the Indian Idol judge, 2004 must have helped her while playing this role as most of the times she is shouting at the hero or other people.
The songs are nice  but overall they hinder the narrative and don’t really take the story forward in any way.
Bela Sehgal ,known as the editor of brother SLB’s films has made her directorial debut with this film. Despite a good story, Boman's good performance ,decent reviews from the critics and massive promotional drive by celebrities such as SRK this unconventional love story fails to attract masses to the theater because of its slow speed and lack of masala.

In a  line only  if you are a big Boman fan this film is for you .  Others can wait to watch it on TV.
